Museum with a valuable archive/collections but no building.
Our
historical market town in North Norfolk with Roman and Saxon
History, listed in the Domesday Book, home of Gresham's
School, destroyed in the fire of 1708 and rebuilt into the Georgian
Town you see today has no museum to record this rich and varied
history.
Our
campaign is to raise funds to purchase a suitable building to
record all this history for future generations. Our
Campaign started in August 2003 and raised £15,407.00 in its
first year entirely from supporters. The
Support Continues Our funds now exceed £25,354.
